Nespresso Le Studio Café

Intent
Four days of programming inside Nespresso Le Studio Café in Montréal, and the first reel was cut and delivered the same day.
Nespresso opened Le Studio Café in Montréal and programmed its first weekend: a press evening, a run club, workshops, performances. The audience was Gen Z, who bond with a brand through participation and connection. So the direction was honest moments inside a room built to be looked at. I directed it across mediums on purpose, with a second camera operator and an editor on the team. The launch reel and the recipes went on the proper camera, the three drinks shot with no people and no machine in the picture. The recap ran on iPhone, and the raw footage went back as its own carousel. Fisheye and the 0.5x wide-angle were rationed rather than run wall to wall, because that texture ages a premium brand fast.
