Amex's Platinum Dining Experiences pair cardmembers with a restaurant kitchen, by invitation and for Platinum only. The Montréal edition brought Le Violon into a studio dressed head to toe in Amex blue. Canada's 100 Best named that kitchen the country's best new restaurant later the same year. The brief was a fourteen-item shot list, and the images had to sell the next city on the tour. So I brought in studio lighting and shot it as food photography, anchored on the kitchen brigade from prep and plating to the last pour.
