An evening in Amex Canada's Les PME sont à leurs affaires series. A cocktail class and five course dinner by Le Violon, shot from prep to last pour.
Amex Canada's Les PME sont à leurs affaires series brought small business clients to the table. One evening in Montréal: a cocktail class, then a five course dinner by Le Violon, in a studio dressed head to toe in Amex blue.
The producer's brief arrived as a fourteen item shot list. Chefs in action first, then branded details, kitchen work, plating, the class, the speeches, the room. A list like that can flatten into inventory. The job was to shoot it as one continuous evening instead.
I anchored the coverage on Le Violon's brigade: prep and plating in the kitchen, the pass, the carving, hands finishing plates. The room carried the brand on every surface, from the pixel mosaic walls to the place settings and the bar. Guests appear the way guests should, mid conversation and mid laugh, never posed against a wall.
Seven hours on the floor, five courses from canapés to dessert, and the full edited gallery delivered the next day on a rush turnaround.
