Common questions

What does an advertising photographer do?

Makes the campaign frame: the image built to sell an idea in a paid placement, a launch, or a press feature. I direct the concept, the casting, and the set, then shoot and finish it.

Do you work with advertising and experiential agencies?

Often, and happily. Agencies book me to hold their client's standard on set: senior direction, calm on the floor, delivery on the date. Their strategy stays intact and their client sees the work led with care.

Do you shoot campaign film as well as stills?

Yes, with one crew and one direction across both. The reel cuts to the same idea the stills argue, so the campaign reads as one piece wherever it runs.

Do you know the venues and production houses here?

That is most of what a decade buys. Real relationships with the agencies, the venues, and the crews, and a working map of where the light is good across the city. It shows up as fewer surprises on the day.
